Location

The address of the House of Germany cottage in Balboa Park is 657 Pan American Place, San Diego, CA 92101. It is accessible from Presidents' Way off Park Blvd., opposite the San Diego Naval Medical Center. Note that this is not a mailing address. For general inquiries, please send us an email.

Parking

Three parking lots are available on Presidents' Way. The largest parking lot is on the West side of Presidents' Way behind the Comic-Con Museum (Federal lot). The parking lot closest to the cottages is on the Northeast side of Presidents' Way near the Organ Pavilion (Organ Pavilion lot). A third lot is in front of the San Diego Air and Space Museum (Palisades lot).

Another parking lot is located at the intersection of the I-5 freeway and Park Blvd (Lower Inspiration Point lot).

Trams and Shuttles

Free tram service continues to serve visitors to Balboa Park. All trams are equipped with ADA-accessible ramps; ask the conductor for assistance.

Trams operate daily and leave from the Inspiration Point parking lot at Park Boulevard and Presidents Way.

Tram service hours run from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. An on-call shuttle is available for park-based employees and volunteers from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
