If you like to sing, would like to improve your German, or just want to have fun, we invite you to consider joining the House of Germany Choir.

Prospective members are welcome to visit for a week or two to see if they want to become a member. Membership in the House of Germany is required, and Choir members must pay a nominal fee to defray some of the costs of the choir.

The choir performs at the annual Springfest, Lawn Program, and Christmas events, and occasionally at other functions. Check out our calendar for dates of scheduled performances.

Director

Claudia Lorenz is a passionate music director who believes in the power of song to unite, inspire, and uplift. Leading the adult choir, she brings out the very best in every singer—building confidence, camaraderie, and lasting friendships through the shared joy of making music together.

With a special love for German choral traditions, Claudia creates opportunities for cultural connection and discovery, helping singers of all ages experience the beauty and joy of singing in the German language. Her rehearsals are filled with enthusiasm, laughter, and a deep sense of community—where every voice matters, and every song tells a story.
